A special edition Bunnahabhain launched for the 2023 Feis Ile, also known as The Islay Festival of Whisky & Music. Fully matured in William and Humbert Canasta sherry casks, a blend of Oloroso (75%) and Pedro Ximenez (25%) sherries. Unpeated and sherried, with no added color and non-chill filtered.

  • Tasting Notes:

    - Nose: sherried nose; sweet and caramelized fruits, honey roasted nuts, cinnamon and clove with a hint of rancio. Sweet smelling, toffee, rum and raisin plus cinnamon.

    - Palate: Maple syrup with creamy vanilla, dried figs, poached pears and cocoa. A gentle twist of orange appears in the background. Salted caramel, malt, vanilla and chocolate plus some orange peel bitterness and hints of cinnamon and sweet chili.

    - Finish: Long and sweet with notes of brown sugar and red apples.

    Secret discovery

    Wow, what a fruity delicious dram. Easy drinking at 51.2% without any water, it opens up & delicious plum, vanilla & cinnamon.
