Crafted in honour of Taketsuru’s Scottish training and pioneering spirit, this expression embodies the harmony between soft elegance and structured complexity. It’s a pure malt (vatted malt) with no grain whisky, offering richness without compromise.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Refined and layered. Aromas of stewed apples, vanilla cream, dried apricots, and a touch of baking spice. Soft undertones of sandalwood and toasted oak create a delicate foundation.

Palate: Silky and expressive. Flavours of toffee, roasted nuts, and milk chocolate unfold into baked pear, malted barley, and a whisper of sherry-soaked fruit. Light hints of peat and spice add depth without overshadowing the balance.

Finish: Elegant and medium-long. Lingering notes of dried fruit, almond, and gentle oak tannins, with a fading wisp of smoke.
