Situated on Scotland's rugged north coast,
Wolfburn Distillery was first established in 1821, rapidly becoming the largest distillery in Caithness. Named after its water source (burn' being the Scots words for stream).
At Wolfburn, and our master craftsmen fashion their whisky the same way it was always made: by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste.
A UNIQUE FLAVOUR...
Thick treacle and coffee notes lead the way, accompanied by subtle tones of cherry and dried spice. The tannins are subtle, allowing the palate to develop beautifully. Hazelnut, almonds and cloves are all present, delicately overlaid with soft peat smoke. A wonderfully complex and thoroughly enjoyable dram.
