Grapes for Noble Hill Brut Nature come from grapes from a single vineyard of Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in decomposed granite soil. The vines are allowed to develop an expansive open canopy to facilitate airflow and shade the bunches through the summer. The Chardonnay clone planted here is of Champagne origin, making it exceptionally well-suited to the creation of traditional method sparkling wine.
